  • 15 years paid experience
  • Nanny in Granada Hills, CA 91344

Meet Heather

  • Comfortable with pets
  • Has a car

I have 15 years of babysitting experience, most of my experience being with infants and toddlers. I've cared for children in the home, nursery, and as a student intern at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. I am certified by the Red Cross in pediatric CPR and first aid. I have always been drawn to young children, and people consider me a "natural." My love for children and passion for helping them grow up happy and healthy is one reason I chose to study Child and Adolescent Development. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in 2013. I would love to become either a Neonatal Nurse or a Child Life Specialist working with children in hospital settings. I'm very physically active, and I love to play outside even as an adult. I love seeing children learn and develop in all areas. I am also happy to help take some weight off of parents' Read more shoulders by taking care of the house while they are away. I work full-time at Trader Joe's, but I can very easily adjust my schedule to work with your needs.

Through no fault of her own, she didn't turn out to be the right fit for our needs. But I very much appreciated her honesty and communication as we figured it out.

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
