I recently graduated from SFSU with my bachelor's in Child Development and Adolescent- school age and family. I’m currently working on my credentials and certification in Business. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, hiking, and reading. I also enjoy volunteering in different nonprofit organizations during the weekend. My last 3-5 years of nannying have been such a lovely experience. From watching the child say their first word to watching them take their first steps to now attending school. In August 2019, I began nannying a 2 year old girl and their siblings who were 10 and 6 years old at that time. My duties included preparing breakfast, getting the two older siblings for school/ sumemr camp, drop off/ pick up, taking the older children to their extracurricular activities aftershoool. When the older chikdren will be at school I would take the younger child to swim Read more class, library, playdates and creating learning activities as well as updating the parents in what we are doing. Preparing lunch for kids while doing light house cleaning. Putting the youngest for a nap and doing kids laundry. Help the older children with homework if needed. Organize any upcoming events for the children, run any errands that are needed for the household. Help prepare dinner for children and get children ready for bed. We had a routine set up that worked well and being able to communicate with the family made the job enjoyeable.
