I am a newborn and toddler care specialist with more than 15 years of professional experience. I am nurturing, compassionate, and reliable. I focus on implementing age-appropriate activities that promote healthy intellectual, physical, and social development. My approach includes daily reading, imaginative play, interactive learning activities, music, singing, dancing, crafts, and regular visits to playgrounds, libraries, parks, museums, and more. I also have experience preparing organic, nutrient-dense meals that support the well-being of the children under my care. As a California Certified Elementary School Teacher, I have a deep understanding of preschool curriculum development and have successfully designed lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards, emphasizing foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning. Fluent in English and Spanish, I also enjoy teaching Spanish as a second language to children. Additionally, I am a proficient swimmer, CPR and First Aid certified, own a car, and maintain a clean driving record. My goal is to provide exceptional, safe, and loving care for children and make a positive impact on their lives.

Ivonne cared for our son from the time he was two weeks old, and she quickly became an invaluable part of our family. She was incredibly loving, caring, trustworthy, and attentive, always putting our son’s safety and well-being first. Ivonne is a wonderfully kind and caring person who showered our son and our family with love and warmth from the very first day. When it came to playtime, Ivonne kept my son engaged in developmentally appropriate activities. She sang and read to him often, took him for walks, and brought him to the library for story time and to different parks. I could tell that our son was always extremely engaged and delighted when he spent time with Ivonne. She was also great at following the exercises recommended by his physical therapist, and our son made great progress due in large part to Ivonne’s continued support. Since our son began eating solids, Ivonne was very creative at introducing him to a wide variety of nutritious foods for him to try and did an outstanding job encouraging him to eat independently, explore new foods, and develop a love for food. Ivonne is an excellent communicator. My husband and I usually worked from the office throughout the week, but we never felt as though we were missing anything about our son’s day. Ivonne sent us lovely updates with photos and detailed records from the day, and we always felt completely comfortable leaving our son in her care. We knew he was in great hands and trusted her completely. Finally, Ivonne was extremely reliable, punctual, and flexible. There were several occasions when we needed her help in the evenings or on weekends, and she was always great at accommodating us. I can’t recommend Ivonne highly enough. Any family would be extremely lucky to have such a wonderful, caring, and loving person care for their child!

Keisha was wonderful to work with. She was so kind to let me schedule her with notice just one day in advance. She was very good at managing two toddlers. She was patient and acclimated very quickly. I would highly recommend her and work with her again.

I have many years of experience babysitting various age groups and I have taught science summer programs to ages 5-18. I also have a daughter, graduated from college. I raised my daughter to be involved in extra curricular activities, e.g., photography, sports, tutoring and play dates. So, I understand the challenges of a work life balance. I believe I can provide a caring, creative, educational environment that helps children thrive and become the best people they can be. I currently hold a BS in Biology and studied Masters in Forensic Science. I work in the field of compliance, and I would like to fund my Compliance exam that’s why I’m seeking additional employment. I will do my best to create a nurturing and engaging environment for your child. My Spanish and Portuguese speaking skills are a little rusty, but I may be able to assist with basic Spanish homework. I provide receipts for childcare reimbursement/ taxes. I prefer that we discuss that in advance to make it easier on tracking. My standard childcare rate is $30 per hour * This includes childcare, entertainment or homework supervision, following basic daily routines, standard meal prep and cleaning any “mess” we make as a result of babysitting. For sitting locations over 8 miles from my home there is a $10 on time travel cost, per session. *Additional services can range for up to $40 per hour. Rates beyond $30 account for additional services and requests, e.g., household chores, tutoring, extensive services required for disabilities and pet care. ** I am respectful of allergy concerns, please be aware that I consume peanut products and I own a dog.** I have served as a “Course Life Assistant” to college students on ecosystem and field study trips in Central America. In this capacity, I was responsible for offering basic first aid and CPR, if needed. Although I have been CPR certified. I have driven kids to school and sports via Zum and Hopskip drive (driving kids apps).

Patricia cares for our 9 month old baby. She is responsible, responsive, and has a natural, calm demeanor that puts everyone at ease. Her communication is exceptional. She proactively checks in with thoughtful questions about how to approach new situations with our baby, which not only gives us peace of mind but also allows us to feel included and articulate my care preferences. She is always receptive to our feedback. We find Patricia to be very respectful of our parenting choices. She fully supports and values our decision to breastfeed, creating an environment where I can feed comfortably when I am present. She maintains a calm and alert presence, which is invaluable. We have observed her incredible patience during feedings, which is so important as our baby explores new food. Patricia keeps our baby engaged with age and energy-appropriate activities that are fun and stimulating. She understands that a baby's schedule can change unpredictably and adapts with grace and flexibility. When I am home, Patricia always allows me to step in and care for our baby, whether it's for snuggles, a feeding, or just play. She seamlessly adjusts to my presence. She consistently cleans up after chores and maintains the tidiness of the play areas. Patricia has been a calming and capable presence in our home.

Maggie worked with us as a night nanny for our 3–4 month old baby. She is responsible, experienced, hardworking, and genuinely caring. You can really tell how much she cares about babies from the thoughtful way she looks after them and how much attention she pays to small details. She follows instructions well while also using her own judgment and being flexible when needed. I always felt very reassured leaving our baby in her care overnight. We would definitely recommend her!

Kveta is amazing! My cat instantly warmed up to her and I feel comfortable knowing he's well taken care of. She sends photos of how my cat is doing when I'm away and quickly picked up my cat's complex care routine (he has some underlying medical issues).

We've worked with Kelsy several days this year as a bridge toward a delayed daycare opening. She's helped us both as part of a nanny-share and then as the dedicated nanny to our 4-month-old son. Kelsy is spectacular with kids! We thought our apartment was going to explode the first day of nanny-share (with a 4-month-old and a 6-month-old), but she's very patient and has a number of tricks to soothe fussy infants. She's also great at entertaining children in general and quickly was able to use our Alexa to find a number of good songs to get him laughing. It has also been great to have our son be able to hear some real Spanish and not my broken phrases. And in general, Kelsy is easy to reach by text and email and very professional in terms of agreements, expectations, etc. Perhaps the only con (if it can be called that) is that she is very particular about COVID-19 restrictions, even more so than the CDC would recommend for vaccinated adults as of May 2021. That being said, there are plenty of other respiratory viruses out there - so great that she is so cautious about avoiding getting any of us sick and vice versa!

I have two younger children ages 4 and 6 and she has been fantastic. She has a lot of life experience with children and brings a very calm and confident approach to handling the children. With very little direction she quickly jumped into the flow of our morning routine and helps get the children up, fed, dress and drives them to school. She does multiple drop offs and I am very grateful that she is a very experienced driver. It was always a concern of mine that I would need to work with someone who could handle longer drives to multiple schools. I enjoy chatting with Teresa and am very thankful to be working with her.

She knows what she is doing! Child care expert I would say. We hired her to watch my 10 week old and my best friend's 6 week old for a few hours. She handled both babies expertly. I can't say enough good things about her. I will be using her services again.

Shan is an excellent babysitter. She is punctual, attentive, conscientious and builds a good rapport with children quickly. My son is on the spectrum so he is a handful but she keeps up with him. Shan is playful with him, keeps him entertained and is helpful in getting him settled for lunch. I highly recommend her.
