I have many years of experience babysitting various age groups and I have taught science summer programs to ages 5-18. I also have a daughter, graduated from college. I raised my daughter to be involved in extra curricular activities, e.g., photography, sports, tutoring and play dates. So, I understand the challenges of a work life balance. I believe I can provide a caring, creative, educational environment that helps children thrive and become the best people they can be. I currently hold a BS in Biology and studied Masters in Forensic Science. I work in the field of compliance, and I would like to fund my Compliance exam that’s why I’m seeking additional employment. I will do my best to create a nurturing and engaging environment for your child. My Spanish and Portuguese speaking skills are a little rusty, but I may be able to assist with basic Spanish homework. My standard childcare rate is $20 per hour * This includes childcare, entertainment or homework supervision, following basic daily routines, standard meal prep and cleaning any “mess” we make as a result of babysitting. *Additional services can range for up to $40 per hour. Rates beyond $20 account for additional services and requests, e.g., household chores, tutoring, extensive services required for disabilities and pet care. ** I am respectful of allergy concerns, please be aware that I consume peanut products and I own a dog.** I have served as a “Course Life Assistant” to college students on ecosystem and field study trips in Central America. In this capacity, I was responsible for offering basic first aid and CPR, if needed. Although I have been CPR certified. I have driven kids to school and sports via Zum and Hopskip drive (driving kids apps).

Patricia cares for our 9 month old baby. She is responsible, responsive, and has a natural, calm demeanor that puts everyone at ease. Her communication is exceptional. She proactively checks in with thoughtful questions about how to approach new situations with our baby, which not only gives us peace of mind but also allows us to feel included and articulate my care preferences. She is always receptive to our feedback. We find Patricia to be very respectful of our parenting choices. She fully supports and values our decision to breastfeed, creating an environment where I can feed comfortably when I am present. She maintains a calm and alert presence, which is invaluable. We have observed her incredible patience during feedings, which is so important as our baby explores new food. Patricia keeps our baby engaged with age and energy-appropriate activities that are fun and stimulating. She understands that a baby's schedule can change unpredictably and adapts with grace and flexibility. When I am home, Patricia always allows me to step in and care for our baby, whether it's for snuggles, a feeding, or just play. She seamlessly adjusts to my presence. She consistently cleans up after chores and maintains the tidiness of the play areas. Patricia has been a calming and capable presence in our home.

Kveta is amazing! My cat instantly warmed up to her and I feel comfortable knowing he's well taken care of. She sends photos of how my cat is doing when I'm away and quickly picked up my cat's complex care routine (he has some underlying medical issues).

I have two younger children ages 4 and 6 and she has been fantastic. She has a lot of life experience with children and brings a very calm and confident approach to handling the children. With very little direction she quickly jumped into the flow of our morning routine and helps get the children up, fed, dress and drives them to school. She does multiple drop offs and I am very grateful that she is a very experienced driver. It was always a concern of mine that I would need to work with someone who could handle longer drives to multiple schools. I enjoy chatting with Teresa and am very thankful to be working with her.

We had a great experience with Shan. At the beginning, our child was not familiar with her and was a bit resistant, but she handled the situation very patiently and calmly. She took him out for a walk, which really helped him warm up, and soon he became comfortable engaging with her. We also appreciated that she left everything tidy and organized, including the playpen area. Overall, she was attentive, thoughtful, and easy to work with. We would be happy to have her again.

My wife and I began our search for a nanny when our daughter turned five months old, focusing on candidates from Hayward, Castro Valley, and San Leandro. After conducting numerous interviews, we were fortunate to connect with Tazun. From our initial phone conversation, Tazun exuded professionalism and a genuine affection for children, traits that were even more apparent when we met her in person. These qualities immediately stood out, making her a promising candidate to care for our daughter, Ariana. Over the past five months, Tazun has been Ariana's exceptionally attentive and caring nanny. She engages in various activities that promote her growth and development, including reading, playing, and teaching her basic self-care skills like cleaning and feeding. Tazun's dedication is reflected in every interaction, creating a warm, nurturing environment supporting our child's well-being. Her commitment to Ariana's development and her loving nature have made her an important part of her life and ours, as Tazun helps ensure that whatever we are focusing on for Ariana's development is a priority. An example would be the work that Tazun has been doing with Ariana's crawling and verbal skills. Moreover, Ariana's excitement each morning at seeing Tazun is a testament to their special bond and the joy Tazun brings to her day. In addition to her caregiving skills, Tazun's professionalism is of the highest standard. She is always punctual, arriving ten minutes early to prepare for the day, which ensures she is fully focused on Ariana's needs right from the start. Her reliability and steadfast commitment to her role give us tremendous peace of mind and underscore her value as a caregiver. As working parents, her dependability is incredibly important to us. Tazun is truly a remarkable nanny whose professional demeanor and heartfelt passion for childcare make her an ideal choice for any family seeking quality care for their children. We are fortunate to have Tazun as Ariana's nanny and highly recommend her for families to consider.
