Hi Families! My name is Lauren, but I go by Lou and I am a career nanny with a passion for working with children! I have had considerable professional and volunteer experience providing childcare. My most recent position was working for a family with four children aged 3 months, 2.5, 5 and 6 at the time I started. l provided full time infant and toddler care, transported the children to and from school and activities, did housework and children's laundry, and also provided overnight care while parents traveled for work. I love the dynamics of working with multiple children and large and/or busy families and pride myself on my ability to multitask and respond to the needs of different age groups simultaneously. For over 8 years I have worked as a full-time nanny for children ranging from 2 months to 10 years. I have experience with twins and have some nanny share experience as well. I've been lucky enough to travel to Romania and Guatemala where I volunteered in a special needs orphanage and taught art to middle schoolers. I love coming up with creative and artistic activities for the children I care for! I also love baking and cooking as well as outdoor activities such as hiking and biking.
