Meet Shantelle

Hello! I grew up watching my siblings, who are now 15, 7 and 4. I also regularly watched children in my neighborhood, including children with special needs. In July of 2015 I decided to take it one step further and moved to New Zealand to be an Au Pair for 9 months. I watched two beautiful children, a 4 year old girl and a 6 year old boy. They were a very busy family, and always on the move! I worked for them full time. I made the kids breakfast, got them ready and took them to school. While they were gone I cleaned the house, did the washing, and did the dishes. I also helped the kids with their homework and reading. I would also take them to their after school activities and participated when I was allowed to! That included swimming, yoga, rugby, tennis and dance. After our Read more day together, we would head home and I would make dinner for the family. I loved to take the children to parks, find pictures in the clouds, paint each others faces, make dancing videos, bake yummy treats, and so much more! I loved to watch them grow, teach them new things, and encourage their personalities to flourish. I also helped to teach them the importance of their individuality, and tried to help them to always remain positive even when they failed. I am very optimistic, and keep up with the energy of children. I am also great company for adults to. I love to stay active, and keep a healthy lifestyle. I love yoga, volleyball, hiking and camping. I have my associates degree, however I found a love for yoga and would some day like to teach. I am going to Hawaii September 22 for a teacher training course for three weeks. I would be able to start before this date, however I would need this time off. Of course, I would be available after then too! I also currently just own a motorcycle. So I do have transportation, however not for multiple people.
