Hello , Let me start by saying I have a true love for childcare. Currently, I am nannying for three families with ages of 1, 4, 6, and 10. To give you some background, I was recently admitted to Penn State University for Bachelor's in Law & Society with a minor in political science. Penn State is one of the largest and most prestigious accredited universities to offer this program. To financially afford this, I am enrolled in this full-time program online which is allowing me time to also nanny. I grew up with lots of baby cousins so at an early age, my love began. I always volunteered to babysit. I have watched infants, toddlers, and teenagers. In 2017, I became a nanny for a family I met on Care.com (I keep in contact with the kids to this day). I was offered a relatively well-paying job, which left Read more me giving notice to the family. After starting, I quickly realized a 9-5 position was not for me. With going to school and working full-time, I simply did not find the joy which I once had while babysitting/nannying. What is important to me is this- I would like to feel a part of a family and consequently, not have the view of this being a "job".
