My first job at 16 years old was working in the Children’s Department at a Theater Company. I spent weekday afternoons working with groups of children ages 5-14. From there I met a fantastic family who I became a nanny for. They had two children, one with autism. I was with them for a little over a year before I moved to Southern California to work at Disneyland. I have worked at Disneyland for a little over three years now and I n my current role, I get to work with guest performing groups, typically age 7-18. What I have loved most about every single one of my jobs is that I have been able to work with children in many different capacities. Kids truly have the most amazing hearts, and I love their passion and excitement for the world.
