Hello, my name is Catherine and I am an active 22 year old going into my last year at the University of California, San Diego to complete a double major in Marine Biology and Environmental Chemistry. I am Red Cross CPR and First Aid trained, which includes Infant CPR training. I have grown up babysitting my nephews since the beginning of high school (around 8 years ago) and I absolutely love working with children and animals. I am able to assist with homework help in any subject, I have a clean driving record and drive a reliable Nissan Altima, and I am very active and love to run and swim. I grew up working with children of all ages as an elder troop member in Girl Scouts for 11 years and later became a volunteer until I moved to San Diego for College. I have assisted in summer school programs Read more for children at Shepard of the Hills in Northern California. In these programs I have assisted in lesson planning, arts and craft organization and engaged in play time with children ranging from 1 year to 15 year old's. More recently, I act as a RA (residential assistant) at UC San Diego to plan programs and events, and to help maintain a safe community environment for first year college students. I hope to get back into working with children and/or animals so please feel free to contact me!
