My name is Bianca, and I'm a graduate student studying peace and justice at USD. I have over seven years experience working with children, both in childcare and educational settings. I’ve worked for over two years with foster youth as a mental health aid, incorporating in trauma-informed care and art therapy/recreation. I have experience with youth on the autism spectrum, infants, and children aged 2-17. I most recently worked a seasonal job as a youth development leader at the Kroc Center, and have experience working as a theater teacher at various elementary and middle schools across San Diego county. I love being able to build a rapport with the kids I work with, and to help them explore their creative sides through art and music. I’m CPR certified, comfortable with pets, and proficient in Spanish.

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers.
