I was born into a family with 3 sisters and 3 brothers. From a very early age I had a wide understanding of the concept of family and community. I took on a caretaking role within the family very quickly, always wanting to make sure my siblings felt safe and loved. That’s when my life for caring for others within a family really began. I have been babysitting and nannying for a total of about 5 years now. I also worked in a Church daycare for all ages (infant/child/teen) for about 2 years. I take delight in nannying because it exemplifies the ways in which it is important to care for one another. It is deeply important for me that kids no matter where they are from or they’re background deserve to be cared for, loved, and looked after.
