Hi there! I am the youngest of 6 girls, who have made me the aunt of 9 beautiful kids. Their ages currently range from 6months to 15 years old, with some of them starting to drive. Because of the wide age range, I've been an aunt and caring for children for more than half of my life. Not only have I nannied and babysat for my own family, but I also did so for families in my neighbourhood. I am still a very involved aunt, flying to Texas to watch my nieces when my sister goes out of town, or driving my other nieces and nephews to school, sports and various activities. I keep a close relationship with them all despite currently living in a different state. Their ages range vastly, and so do their abilities. I have a niece with Dyslexia, dysgraphia, and ADHD, and my mother worked in Read more the school system with differently abled students my whole life. I am very comfortable around kids with all different needs. I drive, I can swim, I can potty train, and do crafts. Having so many sisters, I am also very aware that every parent has their method of raising their children and I respect that above all else. I believe in following the parents' lead and always want them to feel comfortable with the way their child is being treated and cared for while they are under someone else's care.
