Hi! My name is Marisa Holder. I started babysitting my newborn cousin at the age of 8 years old until he was about 2-3. I've always loved babies and caring for them. Throughout growing up I would babysit most of my cousins or my moms friends children. I love to play and be silly with kids. My most recent cousin was born in 2012 and from birth I looked after him until he was 1 1/2 years old almost daily. I would prepare bottles, burp him, give him bathes, clothe him, play with him, sing to him, put him down for naps, and change his diaper very frequently to avoid rashes. Soon after I began babysitting him I became pregnant so once my daughter was born I stopped watching him. My daughter was born in 2013 and I was a single mother so naturally I did everything on my own. Read more She was quite a handful and cried a whole lot so she definitely helped my patience grow immensely. My daughter will be starting school this August on the 22nd so she will be at school 8 am until 2:30 pm Monday-Friday. She also goes to her fathers house every other week. I do request that on the weeks and times she is with me that I bring her along. She absolutely loves babies and is not a violent or mean child. I am currently the Assistant Store Manager at Spencer's in the Hanford Mall. I love working there and what I do. However, my true calling is just being a mother and I truly would love to being nannying. Children being such joy into my life and creating bonds with babies are things that cannot be experienced doing any other job.
