I recently graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor s degree in Child and Adolescent Development. I have had various hands-on experiences working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities as I have worked as a behavioral interventionist, a teacher s assistant, and a nanny. I currently am a substitute at a preschool and a child advocate to a foster child which I absolutely love. These experiences, along with my education, have helped me understand that children learn and develop best through social interactions which is why I love playing, reading, and spending time with children while also providing a safe environment. I am CPR and First aid certified as children's safety and overall well-being is very important to me. I am currently looking for a part time job as I will be volunteering at a children's hospital in hopes of pursing a Child Life Specialist Master's degree Read more this next year.
