I have been a babysitter since the age of 17. Duties ranged from cooking light meals, doing laundry, grocery shopping on occasions and taking children to the park, playing creative games, building blocks, reading and putting children down for naps. I truly enjoy working with children. I am currently an employee at a BABYSITTING SERVICE for a gym. I enjoy how energetic and inquisitive children are. My minor is in Child Development and I have taken courses regarding the development of children and also the importance of nutrition. Because my mother was a foster parent who only dealt with babies, infants and children with special needs, I have experience with high risk children who need special care, an abundance of patience, love and diligence. The ages ranges from ages 2 months to 5 years old. I have also mentored children in a program (ages 8-10) and have been the Nutrition Read more Coordinator for a program that provided services for children between the ages of 12 and 17. I taught them healthy alternatives and how to make healthy choices. I am currently a student, my major is Nutrition and Dietetics with a minor in Child Development. I am CPR/First Aid certified and currently hold a certificate as a Nutrition Program Assistant with a Child Program Emphasis. I am passionate about children of all ages. I am also very excited when an opportunity is presented to not only bond with a child and create a positive, fun, environment but also an educational one where I am able to introduce healthy meals. I also enjoy singing, music and reading to children. Lastly, due to my mother being a foster parent, I have been in a child friendly environment all of my life and have been hands on with the process, hopefully this will be taken into consideration.
