I have an associates of arts degree in early childhood education. I have an associates teacher permit issued by the state of California. Though i do not yet have a bachelor's degree, i do have university education, having attended both USC and CSUN. I have a career committed interest in youth, with an ultimate goal of becoming a special education teacher, working with deaf and hard of hearing children. I have 2 years professional experience in a Preschool setting with children age 0-5, with the majority of my experience in the infant/toddler age group. I am particularly talented and interested in working with special needs children with mobility and/or behavioral issues...as i am very observant and quickly able to assess which activities and methods work best with that child. I have intermediate American sign language skills and would be more than happy to share the skills with you and your Read more family. I have current first aid/CPR certificate. My personal experience is with childrenof all ages. I am an aunt to more nieces and nephews than i can count(lol) and i am a non custodial mother to a 9 year old boy.
