My name is Lauren. I am 24 years old. I would love to assist you with your childcare needs! I have about 8 years of experience with children of all ages from newborns to preteens. I have worked in various childcare settings including working as a babysitter in my early years, working as a nanny for different families and working as a teacher’s assistant. I currently have my AA degree in Liberal Studies and am currently working on my BA degree in Psychology at California State University Long Beach. I am currently not CPR certified but I am willing to complete any training necessary. I am a strong advocate for neurological stimuli as well as physical activities. I love to create new and interesting ways of learning. I love to sing, dance and do projects as well as go outside and enjoy nature. I have classes in the evenings on Tuesday and Thursday starting at 4:30pm which allows me to work the early part of the day until 2pm. I am completely available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I will definitely be available for emergency situations as well. I can also make overnight accommodations if needed. My schedule is very flexible and I will be available to assist you whenever my services are needed outside of the designated hours. I am also willing to travel long weekends with the family as long as it does not interfere with my school schedule. I unfortunately do not have a passport. I am also available for off-site childcare if needed. I drive a white 2011Volkswagon Jetta. I am more than happy to use my car for childcare duties or a car that is designated for that. My car is in perfectly working condition and is one of the safest cars. It is equipped with a functioning air conditioner, heater, lights, airbags, etc. I am insured under Progressive with full coverage. I also have a reliable cell phone, iPad mini and MacBook Pro. In addition to childcare needs, I am available for cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, walking/feeding pets and personal assistance.
