Hello. I'm Stacey and I have lived in Long Beach my entire life. I just graduated from Cal State Long Beach, and have finished my degree in Human Development. I have about 20 years of real experience with children ages newborn up to 16 years old and have done everything from cooking and cleaning to tutoring, physical education, and recently ran my own mini preschool with a group of 3 year olds. In addition, I have taken 12 ECE units which has helped my knowledge of child development. I've worked in camps, coached a high school soccer team and was a volunteer soccer coach for AYSO for many years. I have also worked with children with physical and developmental disabilities including Autism. As a firm believer in balancing work with play I enjoy everything life has to offer and I will try my best to be a positive influence in Read more your children's lives. Being an advocate of positive reinforcement combined with my passion for kids and their developmental growth is the reason I love my job. I love to draw, write, play the piano, play soccer and other sports, read, cook, play boardgames, etc. I am bubbly, responsible, passionate, driven yet nurturing and kind, and I look forward to the opportunity to demonstrate my capabilities as a child care provider.   While I have a vast imagination and I'm always coming up with innovative, fun and educational ways to engage your children I am also able to adapt to any type of parenting style and curriculum. Being an active individual who loves the outdoors, I can assure you that there will be little time (if any), spent in front of the television. I have recently started sleep training babies from infant age up to 2 years old. Please let me know if you are interested. I also have several very credible references as well as printed background checks and DMV reports from the last three years. Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon!

Stacey helped me as Mom's helper during our trip to California. Stacey is a good babysitter. She took care of my twin boys and cared for them in the museums, parks and other sightseeing. She also helped them with swimming in the pool. Stacey is patient, flexible to understand the needs of others and talks and plays with kids in a friendly manner. I found her very experienced in her job as a babysitter. My children liked to play and do activities with her.

Stacey stayed with my 1.5 yo boy for more than 20 days, my son loves her, she is very active and knows how to play with toddler. She respect our parenting styles, communication is quite easy with her, she is very flexiable which helps us a lot. I hope I can meet her again in the future!

We found Stacy through this site. We were traveling from the east coast to the west coast for a special trip. We needed a city for our 4 month old in our hotel for two days. She communicated great, provided references, letters of recommendations, had cpr and background through this site, linked on social media etc. We were very impressed. It's not easy to take care of a baby you have before because you don't know what they like etc. she did an awesome job, sent text updates, pics of our little guy etc. We could not have been happier. If we lived local we would definitely be using her again. 5 STARS!

She came to us at the last minute request -- wasn't sure how my boys will be with her but as soon as she came in, boys immediately opened up to her. I have a particular almost 3 year old and a just turned 1 year old. She kept them busy and had no problem putting my 1 year old for a nap. She made this experience very smooth and I'd highly recommend her!

Stacey is currently full time nanny for my 20 month old twin girls and is looking for work on weekends and evening. I cannot recommend Stacey more highly. She is always prompt and prepared at the beginning of the day. She is so sweet and patient with the kids (who are, frankly, little monsters). She takes them to the park, plays with them, sets up art projects, and gives all the silly love that toddlers need. Stacey is very careful about their nutrition (which I love) and even shares her salads and veggies with them when they ask. She is super conscientious about meeting my care requests too. All this, and when the kids are napping Stacey does the dishes, folds the laundry, and cleans up. In conclusion, I recommend her without reservations for any childcare job. If you'd like to speak with me further about her, please contact me (Stacey can provide my info). Cailin

Stacey us by far one of the best babysitters I could ever ask for. The girls love her and she has really learned how to care for my 6 month old who has acid reflux. She helps with all of my girls (ages 6 months up to 16), cooking and light housekeeping and really has an interest in them and their activities. LOVE her!

Stacey was amazing. So far she has been one of the best babysitters I have hired through this site. She is very professional, well organized and was an amazing help. My boys thought she was terrific, and warmed up to her right away. She engaged them in a variety activities and really was a help p to me around the house when they were occupied. Thank you Stacey!

Stacey joined our family after I had a series of calamities on the nanny front. Her positive attitude, open heart and hard work put order back in our house. Stacey was willing to adapt to my style of parenting, came up with creative ways to positively manage the kids (I have 3) and really engaged with my children by playing with them. I strongly recommend her as a nanny.
