Meet Stephany

  • Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Comfortable with pets
  • Has a car

I have worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Oregon for the last four years while attending Western Oregon University. I have a Bachelors of Science in Public Policy and Administration with a Concentration in Health and a Minor in Business. In my line of work I have had the opportunity to aid individuals of all ages, who have often had complex physical or mental disabilities. I became a CNA because I have a drive to assist individuals, and provide them with an optimal quality of care. I have recently relocated to California. My desire is to take my experience and training and apply it directly to working with the Children that make up the next generation. I have experience working with and providing care for young children from Newborns through Preschool age.

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
