I am a newly retired middle school History and English teacher. I taught 11-13 year olds for 28 years in Long Beach. For 11 of those years, I job shared so I could teach part time and be a part time stay at home mom to my two daughters, so I have a lot of experience with infants, toddlers, and young elementary children as well. I spent a lot of time doing early literacy enrichment activities with my daughters, so both were early readers. I would like to work part time helping your children as a caregiver, but also to spend time teaching new skills and reading to them. As a district employee, I was fingerprint background checked, TB tested, Covid vaccinated and boosted, and did undergo CPR training early in my career as well. I can provide references from my former administrators.
