Hi there! A student with over 9 years of experience, caring for children has been a role attached to my identity before I even knew a career could blossom from it! As someone who is innately a leader, playful, artistic, and nurturing, childcare is a field that chose me as opposed to something I chose; and there are few things that bring me a greater sense of peace, joy, and purpose more than knowing I have played an active role in inspiring and encouraging a child to dream, or simply be. I love working with families and thrive best in environments where parents are just as committed to a child's holistic development as I am. I mostly have experience with both toddlers and children, however, the age groups I have cared for have ranged from 15 months to 11 years old. I also took a 10 hour ECD course in 2021, and was awarded a Professional Development Certificate of Completion for Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff, which was issued by the Penn State Better Kid Care Program.
