I became a caregiver to share my sensitive heart with young minds and remind them to always remain playful and open even as they inevitably get older. It saddens me that my nephews who I'm extremely close to live on the opposite side of the country in Maine. I still volunteer most of my summers to go and spend time and help raise them, but that still isn't enough for me. Becoming a caregiver allows me to use my wonderful gift of engaging with children making them feel safe and open. I have babysat for many family friends and was always asked back. The type of training I have is in theatre games, or teaching/playing musical instruments, singing/skateboarding/basketball/soccer, I'm basically a kid in a grown up body. I do not drink or do drugs and love that about myself. To me there is nothing more beautiful than a child's curiosity to the world, and with my help this will never go away.
