My background is in Engineering/Construction (12 yrs) and teaching middle school (10 yrs). I relocated to LA from the Midwest to support my sons' industry career-he was on American Idol this season. Since May 2014, I have been working as a House Manager/Personal Assistant/Housekeeper/Nanny for a family that owns two homes in LA, with four children, ages 8-15. My background in teaching allows me to interact well with the kids----motivating them to be their best. While teaching middle school, I learned to foster self-esteem while supporting the individual to find their own solutions. Having a climate of mutual respect in the classroom was a priority for me. Getting the work accomplished while having fun were the principles that drove my teaching style.
