Hello! My name is Victoria and I am a 20 year-old student who attends the honors college at Arizona State University and studies sustainability and psychology. Upon graduating in December, I will be moving to Los Angeles, where I currently live during the summer. I have been babysitting off and on since I was 12 years old and I have a passion for and great deal of experience working with and caring for children. I am currently an intern at the education outreach organization Ecology Explorers, where I use the 5-E Model of Instruction to develop, prepare and implement lessons on science and social science concepts, particularly those related to the environment. Through my internship, I have supervised and taught over 90 students ranging in age from preschool to eighth grade. I believe the experience and skills I have gained through this internship will greatly improve the care I am Read more able to offer your children, by providing me with knowledge on how to effectively engage children in creative, fun and educational activities. I have also developed classroom management strategies, which have strengthened my childcare supervision and management skills. I have experience aiding in elementary school classrooms and in assisting in elementary catechism classes. I am passionate about working with children and find great enjoyment in stimulating the growth and development of children through creative, active, and intellectual engagement. I am particularly looking for a summer nanny position in the Los Angeles area, which would allow me to spend my summer utilizing my experience and skills to care for your child, provide him or her with a role model and friend, and aid in his or her growth and development!
