Howdy parents and caregivers! My name is Bre and I am looking for part-time work starting in the beginning of February. One of the kiddos I currently work with is transitioning into full days at school, and Iām looking to find a new family to help support. I've been working with children for over 15 years ā from babysitting my own cousins to teaching swim lessons at my community pool when I was 14! After years working as a swim instructor at that pool, I became the Aquatics Director where I facilitated meet and greets for parents and their swim instructors, conducted monthly safety tests and trained swim instructors, administered deep-end testing, and coached instructors in proper lesson technique. While getting my undergraduate degree, I had the opportunity to work with the Rochester Broadway Theatre Leagues Summer Stars program. The following year I taught acting and improv classes in addition Read more to dance and music. I spent three summers with the program before moving to New York City. Upon moving, I found work as a full-time private nanny in Brooklyn, NY. During my time with this family, I helped develop hygiene structure, coordinated playdates and provided music classes and swim lessons. Additionally, I oversaw household duties such as dog care, cooking meals, grocery shopping, laundry, and updating the family calendar. I traveled within the US and overseas and occasionally provided transportation when needed. While with this family, I was fortunate enough to become a certified Music Together teacher and hosted a variety of music classes in Brooklyn. Once the children began school, I worked for Ample Hills Creamery as their Party and Events Manager. I coordinated with guests to plan birthday parties and private events. I was responsible for scheduling, training, and managing all party and event employees. Thank you again for taking the time to read about me and looking forward to connecting soon!
