I'm an east coast native who came to California to study at USC. I graduated with a degree in English & Creative Writing and have been living and working in Los Angeles for over six years now. I come from a combined household where I grew up living not just with my parents and an older sister, but also an aunt, two younger cousins, and an array of pets. In addition, I've worked as the neighborhood babysitter for kids of all ages, including regular time spent with two brothers (ages 6 and 8). I have also worked as a camp counselor, co-leading a group of eight kids, ages 4-7. Some of my favorite memories were spending time with sister and young cousins, having fun adventures in the backyard, movie nights, and exploring the neighborhood. I'm an avid cook, a pet person, an accident-free driver, an architecture and design enthusiast, and Read more a book lover. The creativity of kids is one of the funnest and most joy-producing gifts I'm lucky enough to encounter. Over the years, I helped care for my younger cousins, who were just five and three when they moved in with our family. From their toddler years, to middle to school, to high school, I helped with homework and school projects, ferried them to different school and sports event, helped out with birthday parties, prepared meals and snacks of all kinds, and most of all: I learned to create an environment where they could feel inspired, comfortable with themselves and others, curious, and loved.
