I am a visual artist and writer with a collaborative, feminist approach to childcare. I have been a childcare provider for 10 years, beginning with the care of my six younger cousins who ranged in age from a few months to 10 years old. I then continued as a full-time nanny for a 6-month-old for the course of a year, and have spent the past two years caring for an awesome little girl named Divna beginning at age 5 in 2014. In addition to providing Divna with transport to school and healthy, organic meals, I have also facilitated a wide range of art projects during our time together. These include writing and illustrating made up stories, binding handmade books, crafting with mandalas, exploration with musical instruments and movement exercises. As a caregiver, I am responsible, sensitive and intuitive. Investing in the minds and hearts of children is work that I Read more hold very dear, for they contain the promise of the future. I cherish the opportunity to engage the universal impulse to express oneself, to create a comfortable space for creative play and open communication. I am very respectful to household rules and family structures and will provide the ultimate care for your young ones according to your needs and approaches. Caregiving is a pleasure and an honor and I'm grateful to be able to practice it.
