Hi, my name is Ada, I am 19 years old and have been babysitting for the past 8 years since I was 11 years old. I am an American red cross certified babysitter and have training in CPR and First-Aid. I have a lifetime of experience with children growing up with a younger brother, younger cousins, as well as 2 nieces and 3 nephews. I have babysat and nannied for 10+ families in the last 7 years, with children varying in ages from 2-13 as well as caring for multiple children at a time. Outside of babysitting, I have experience volunteering with children, I have volunteered 100+ hours at a daycare in the Bay Area called the canal child care center where I would play with, read to, and take care of young children usually 3-4 who came from low income and underprivileged homes. I also taught English to these Read more children because the majority of them solely spoke Spanish. I also spent 2019-2021 working at a children's museum in the Bay Area called the Bay Area Discovery Museum, there I also spent many hours working with children. I come from a big Italian family, so I have core familial values. I speak English and Italian fluently, I am also extremely proficient in Spanish. I am currently a student at UCLA studying political science with a special interest in psychology and gender studies. During high school I had above a 4.0 GPA all 4 years and have always taken extremely rigorous AP courses. I can tutor and help with homework or other school-related necessities with children due to my academic background. I attended a Waldorf school for 10 years, so I am experienced in artistic areas including knitting, sewing, art, creative writing, crocheting, etc. Additionally, I also worked as a sewing teacher in 2020 to elementary school-aged children. I am extremely hard-working and passionate about working with children. I have my own reliable car (Toyota rav4) so I have my own means of transportation and am able to transport children safely. I can help with tutoring, housekeeping, errands, etc. I am comfortable with pets and comfortable with taking care of multiple children at a time of varying ages given my experience! I have a large availability so I am able to babysit regularly or just for the occasional date night. Thank you so much!
