Hi my name is Tyler and I graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Psychology. I am particularly interested in developmental psychology, and I have interned at a mommy-and-me class for infants and toddlers (ages 6months-5). We did story time, songs, free play, and snack time. I also used to be an intern at the UCLA Ronald Reagan Hospital in the post-partum department, and conducted new born hearing tests and feeding tutorials. Since I interned in that department. For about 6-7 years now, I have been a babysitter and nanny to infants and toddlers in the LA area. I have worked with a kindergartener doing behavioral therapy in their school, but since the schools closed down during Covid I had to stop at that time. Since then, I have started a graduate doctoral program in Clinical Psychology! I currently provide therapy to individuals (mostly children) with developmental disabilities and disorders Read more like Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. I am CPR certified, first aid certified, and have administered medications in the past as well. I have my own vehicle and valid drivers license, and I am located in Westwood! I am going to be taking a break from my program for the next year or so (unsure of return date—but at least until September 2024) to gain more experience with younger children. My goal for this break from my program is to gain clarity on what my area of specialty will be (age group) for my career as a clinician.
