Growing up I lived in a community where family, honesty and taking care of your neighbor were our most prized values. Those are the values I carry with me into each encounter I have with a family. I want to be someone your family can rely on and someone your children can look up to. My child care experience includes my time as a nanny to two rambunctious boys (ages 5 and 3), my time as Miss North Dakota (more on that later!) and Read more almost three years as a teaching artist in Minnesota and Los Angeles. I currently am an employee the Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts, the leading musical theatre academy for kids ages 3-16. Everyday I get to share that joy and life changing magic of musical theatre with so many kids of varying personalities and backgrounds. I am more than happy to include musical theatre/music education in my interactions with your children! In 2015 I had the honor of holding the title of Miss North Dakota (Miss America). During that time I held a state wide school tour reaching over 20,000 students. I created and implemented an anti bullying program that focused on the power of courage, empathy and kindness rather than blaming the aggressors or further victimizing the targets. All of these experiences have greatly shaped not only myself, but how I interact with kids and their families.
