I am a bilingual (French-English) actor and writer based in Silver Lake. I am a former French pre-school teacher and have experience as an educator in museum settings. Most recently, in NYC, I worked as a curriculum writer for NYPL and The Times for middle and high school audiences. Prior to becoming a classroom teacher, I worked as a nanny and babysitter for several years during and after university. I have experience as a babysitter with infants through middle school aged children. I have been responsible for meal preparation, basic tidying up as well as planning interesting and engaging activities and outings (library, museum, parks, etc). My degree in Theatre and Education has offered me a confidence and ease when working with children both from a developmental perspective, but also know the importance of integrating arts and creativity to childcare. With all families I work with I strive to have Read more an open and communicative relationship with the parents so we can be clear about expectations as well as how the day is spent with the children in terms of development, behavior, and activities.
