We as a community work together in establishing a safe environment for all people to enjoy during their recreation activities and experiences. As a participant, leader, and assistant of the City of Los Angeles, I carry responsibilities of ensuring a positive "mark" on children, parents, and members of the city. In my current role, I work with the youth in developing themselves for the next generation. Working with a variety of age groups, I gain the understanding and experience to produce high quality programming for the children I work with. At such a young age in my adult life, I have realized that children are superior to us adults given their innocence and the ways at which their imaginations see the future. Children have fun and this concept continues to teach adults that we too must allow ourselves to have fun. Though the variety of positions differ in their duties, Read more I interact with the youth on a daily basis. The mission of these organizations focuses on the community and how we as people enhance our experiences through social interactions in our communities. The Expo Center is a place where opportunity and experience conjoins the ability to grow in ways one could not have imagined. Through my years of work experience, I have encountered situations that have helped me grow both professionally and personally. Working at both of these facilities has increased my passion of youth development. I have learned to live by what I give back to my society and different communities I am involved with. Each day children help adults learn and develop further. That is a fact we must all adhere to in order to continue succeeding in society. Though not an easy task, the cause of developing the youth is an important cause to me.
