Hello! I have worked many years with children of all ages. I was previously a preschool teacher, as well as an aide in schools. I specialize in working with children with special needs such as Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have a masters degree in Education - Applied Behavior Analysis. I was a behavioral therapist for a couple of years, providing one-on-one therapy for children on the Autism Spectrum as a lead therapist. I have worked with typically developing elementary children in school settings providing after school tutoring, and directing after school art clubs. I’m a very artistic person. I love to do arts and crafts, creating music, and engaging in imaginary play with children. I’m not afraid to get on a child’s level and be silly :) I also love to cook and be out in nature. Playing outside and enjoying parks or going on hikes would definitely be incorporated Read more during my time with your child(ren). My philosophy is that every moment is a teachable moment when engaging with children. In my care your child will not only be playing, but also learning new things as we interact. I am currently seeking a Summer position. Looking forward to meeting you :)
