My name is Zion (they/them) and I am twenty-three years old. I graduated from Oberlin College in 2021 with a major in Hispanic Studies and was a pitcher on the softball team during my time there, rising to captain for the final two years during the pandemic. I moved to New York summer of 2021 and spent two years nannying for kids in the 0-5 age range. Most recently I have moved back to the LA area and reside in mid-city. I am passionate about creating art and music. When my class was sent home from college in 2020, I created an art camp in my backyard. A handful of kids, ages 9 - 13, came over daily and I led them through a variety of art, physical, and play based activities. I am part Colombian, speak Spanish fluently and have studied the language for the past nine years. As Read more a certified yoga instructor I feel comfortable leading children through a series of relaxing floor stretches. Additionally, I have a dog at home and love to care for animals. I have experience working with people on the spectrum and recently took a certification course called Neuroscience and Yoga in the Treatment of Trauma. I am available on weekdays after 1pm, and I have the flexibility to work four weekend days each month. I am happy to provide references upon request.
