Hi, my name is Asia. I have been a caregiver since 2015 and have experience caring for children from newborn to high school in private homes and professional settings. I've also worked as a pet sitter and house sitter. During my time as a nanny and sitter, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of environments, including private homes, Sunday school, camps, and at the Staples Center (now Crypto.com Arena) as a home-game nanny for the Los Angeles Lakers. As a writer and performer, I love doing anything creative with children, whether dancing, drawing/coloring/painting, reading, crafts, etc. The best time to strengthen a person's creativity is when they're young. A child's imagination gives them the foundation to foster many other essential life skills like critical thinking, curiosity, problem-solving, and communication as they grow older. I am also CBEST (California Basic Educational Skills Test) certified, allowing me to Read more provide tutoring and homework help. In addition to childcare, I am an experienced house/pet sitter. I am a proud dog mom of an adorable Chion named Lady and have cared for dogs and cats. I do have a cat dander allergy, so dog homes are preferred. However, I feel comfortable and safe working in cat homes where the cat is regularly/properly groomed, as there is little to no dander that will cause a reaction. I am happy to walk, feed, bathe, and play with your fur babies, and I am comfortable with large pets and pets that shed. Lastly, I understand that as a busy parent, there are services that an experienced caregiver can provide to make your life more organized and less stressful. I am happy to offer household services like school pickup/dropoff, light cleaning (dishes, tidying after children, trash disposal, etc.), cooking/preparing your children's meals, and quick errands. I look forward to working with your beautiful family and welcome any questions you might have.
