I love working with children because I get to have the privilege of acting as a mentor. It is a humbling experience to be able to teach young kids how to follow rules, verbalize, and how to model good behavior. My work experience range from young toddlers to seniors citizens. I have experience working one on one with students who seek a big brother figure after school. During my time serving as a big brother, I would dedicate my time guiding and helping children to accomplish homework tasks, learn fundamentals of basketball, and complete after- school chores. My largest portion of work experience includes working with teenage to young adult with special needs. My work tasks include: medication administration, travel, activities, laundry, meal prep, bathing, and entertainment throughout the day. I provide structure and a model of a positive companion that’s trustworthy. I'm viewed by parents as someone that is Read more reliable and dependable. I go above and beyond expectations. I'm a humanitarian that gives people respect and dignity. I operate out of empathy and ultimately give patient's the care they deserve! I’m also great with pets!

Report

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
