Hi! I'm Megan. I'm an experienced Elementary School Teacher turned Director of Customer Success on Wall Street (wild pivot, right?) who misses working with children. Once a teacher, always a teacher - let me introduce myself. I have a Bachelor's in Education and taught 3rd grade for 3 years. I loved teaching, it was what I wanted to do since 4th grade. I spent my college years working for a before and after school program and summer camp, guiding children ages 4-14. My student teaching brought me through K-5th grade before landing in my 3rd grade classroom. I left to pursue stability (teaching wasn't about teaching anymore). I started in software training, essentially teaching adults (not much different than 3rd graders), working my way up over 10 years to directing a team of 25 people at a legal consultancy firm on Wall Street. I'm a kid at heart when it Read more matters and a responsible adult when it requires. I live a healthy lifestyle, am a clean eater and exercise daily. My artistic side shows up often and I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. Cooking, laundry and diapers don't scare me. I've traveled quite a bit (27 countries and counting). I moved from Wisconsin to California so I have the built-in Midwest mentality mixed with a laid back West Coast wanderer. I've been to some amazing places and am no stranger to moving around the world. If I could get paid to travel, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Whether it's full-time or part-time, I'd love to support your family however I can.
