I am an extremely active individual with grown children who holds a teaching credential. My teaching experience ranges from preschool through high school as well an adult education program. I owned and operated a non-profit preschool for many years before earning my teaching credential. I homeschooled my own children and as they aged, I continued my education with both of my high school childrren; my biggest supporters. I am currently teaching at a rural high school with approximately 50 students and absolutely LOVE it. However, I am now looking at alternate forms of education and individuality. As I stated previously, my children are grown and traveling and I truly believe I have so much love to share, I am looking at a more intimate form of teaching and nurturing young minds. I am a team player and more than happy to work collaboratively with the entire family. I have a Read more bachelor's degree, California K-12 teaching credential along with an adult education degree with a concentration in parent education. I ran seminars for young parents needing parental support along with in home support as needed. I do not have 'nanny' experience, so to speak. However, I raised my children as a single mother to be upstanding contributing members of society; both are successful and traveling today. I absolutely love animals and am more than capable and willing to work with a family who owns animals as well. I am also a trainer for the American Red Cross who has been teaching classes for CPR/First Aid training for nearly a decade. My experience with the American Red Cross also includes certifications for water safety instructor; teaching swim lessons to adult and children as well.
