Hi there, I am new to Sitter City, but excited to step out of an agency, 9-5 office life and back to my roots in child care. I am myself a mother to a 17 and 20yr old. (Although I am only 41 so I can still get down and play around lol) I also had the privilege of raising my husbands little sister who is now 28, from the age of 6. Needless to say I have experience raising children. I have spent the last 8 years as a mental health counselor for a child intensive program with ages 0-17 yrs old. Prior to that, I worked for Pasadena Unified in special education as a behavioral interventionist.
