We cannot say enough wonderful things about Shirley. She cared for our two children from birth to 3+ years of age. She came early/stayed late when asked. She fixed meals and played with the kids. When needed she met us for doctor's appointments. She watched the kids for occasional date night too. She never used the TV to babysit and instead interacted with the kids always. She also encouraged and helped to teach them manners, words, skills and reinforced the things we were working on with the kids. We never came home to a mess either. She was and always will be a part of our family. Shirley treated our children like they were her own and we could not be happier with the care and everything she gave to our children. She would still be with us had we not had to move....leaving our last home was not that hard, but knowing that we had to leave Shirley and her wonderful caring hands and heart was probably the hardest thing we had to do. Our children still ask for her and when they see her picture or talk on Facetime they get sooooo excited. If we could give her more stars we would. Other than your own arms, your children will be no better cared for then by Shirley!
