Thank you for reviewing my profile! I've loved my experiences as a caregiver and nanny (live-in and out), advocating for children of all ages as I truly enjoy their company.  I am committed to making a positive difference to the lives of those I care for and although I take that responsibility to heart, I like to make things enjoyable, too. I encourage reading w/children, getting them to use their imagination, teaching self-respect and respectful behavior (the "golden rule"). I proactively attend to the principles and philosophy of parents with age appropriate development through planned activities, (i.e.; park, zoo, museums, picnics, library) in a safe, nurturing environment. My educational background in Art (Otis College of Art and Design) and Musical Theater (U.C.L.A.) lend a creative approach to the task at hand and I enthusiastically encourage children to participate in those tasks - arts/crafts, cooking, gardening, music, sports, theater, and being Read more responsible (maintaining a clean room, household chores). Flexibility, loving discipline, consistency and patience, as well as maintaining a sense of humor (essential!) are part of my skill set in arriving at positive outcomes. I currently reside in Denver, Co. and am seeking a "live-in" only position at this time. I have an excellent driving record, reliable transportation, am Adult and Child Life-Saver/C.P.R. qualified, clear background check and have excellent references.  I love working within the nexus of a sweet family, helping the development of milestones in a child's life and hope to make life that much easier and fun for you, secure in the knowledge that your loved ones are in good hands!
