From a young age, I helped babysit and care for my little sister and niece. My niece graduated from college and is now a nurse. My sister has a Master’s degree in business. I am the first person in my family to graduate with an Associate’s degree. I have 16 years of experience as a math tutor. I have experience tutoring/mentoring preschoolers, elementary students (Wyzant SFUSD Partner), middle school students (AVID Tutor), high school students and adults. Lot’s of kids tell me that I’m really nice, smart and fun! While in college, I played softball, worked as a college math tutor, made Dean’s List, graduated with a GPA over a 3.0, ran and won MESA club Treasurer, co-founder of SACNAS at Rio Hondo College, and I also helped tutor deaf students. I was accepted and attended UCLA and UC Irvine. Activities we can enjoy together: math, meditation, crystal meditation, yoga, Read more teaching ABCs and practice writing letters from the alphabet, read, play scrabble, play catch, skateboard, swim, play handball, listen to music, sing, play musical instruments, dance, watch tv, play with pets, water color painting, build with blocks and give hugs! I can also cook and/or prepare healthy meals. I have taken a CPR class. My favorite animals are dogs and birds. I have an eight year-old border-collie mix named Kurt Gödel.
