Hello there. My name is Andreeia a CUNY college graduate, and currently living in Hell's Kitchen. I have been passionately working with children since I was a young teen. I enjoy being outdoors, gardening, cooking and experimenting with new recipes. I am a spirited individual and love finding opportunities that challenge me daily. My child care experience began when I was a counselor for science and summer camps for children ages ranging from 6-16 years old. Growing up I was always the occasional sitter in my neighborhood. I have received my Early Child Education certificate from City College of San Francisco. I have since worked at various after-school programs in San Francisco. Prior to moving to New York I was a Coordinator with an accredited before and after school program for 4 years. As a Coordinator I oversaw interdisciplinary curriculum, managed staff, provided healthy snacks, and assisted with homework help. Read more My experience with the program taught me how to multitask with large groups of children and keep them engaged in a fun and safe environment. I have since worked at a variety of educational recreation centers where I was a seasonal naturalist working with children between the ages of 6-15; there I led a variety of gardening and nature activities. Since graduating with a BS in Environmental Science and Urban Studies, I have been nannying for two young girls in Manhattan. I am currently looking for a full-time child care position for the school year. I'm passionate about working with children and enjoy being able to connect with kids through fun learning activities.
