Meet Melissa

  • Comfortable with pets
  • Has a car

Hello! I've been happily caring for all ages of children for the better part of 15 years. I started babysitting when I was very young, cared for multiple family and friends and have had several jobs here in the Bay. My son is 17, confident, kind and independent. I also am helping raise my 1 year old niece. She recently started daycare, so my schedule is much more flexible. I have always loved children and love working with them. Along with references and letters of recommendation I can provide, I also own my vehicle which is fully insured. I proudly have a clean driving record and am very comfortable driving with children. I'm CPR, AED and first aid certified in infants, children and adults. I would be happy to answer any other questions you may have and I look forward to meeting you!

Report

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
