Hello! I have been working with children for the past ten years. I have worked as a camp councilor, pre school ski instructor, a live in nanny, a live out nanny and as a babysitter. I have worked with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. Additionally I love animals and have experience caring for dogs and cats. I find caregiving extremely rewarding. It’s very special to get to experience a young person as they develop and grow. I am always humbled, entertained and warmed by my caregiving experiences. I am knowledgeable and comfortable with the many components that go into child care from meal preparation to potty training. I strive to match the parenting style of the family and to maintain a clean environment. I make a point of ensuring that spaces are cleaned after meals and play. I have patience and am willing to try different approaches Read more to problem solve, everyone is different! I am familiar with sleep training and maintaining a schedule. Aside from the practical know how I also love to play! I have acquired the annoying habit of singing about nearly everything from my toddler time and understand the importance of exploration and play time over screen time. I like to incorporate the outdoors, music, art and learning into the day and love reading children’s books out loud. I’m not embarrassed to play pretend and will climb on the playground and help maintain a sense of imagination and wonder. If you are looking for an energetic, playful, calm, patient, loving person I would be happy to tell you more about my experience and why I will be a great fit for your family!
