My name is Antonina Alyssa but you can call me Alyssa. I have been teaching Preschool Age (2-5), assisted Elementary students for an after school program at Walnut Creek, and provided infant care (6mo+) in Childcare schools since 2016. I have been a babysitter for multiple families since 2021 and have started my nannying journey in 2024. I am passionate, patient, nurturing, empathetic, and super silly. I’m an effective communicator and listener, and a trust worthy person; building relationships comes naturally for me. I’m also a diligent learner and sometimes I learn new things from kids themselves. I can create daily logs and use GooglePhotos and/or Google Calendar as a center of communication/updates. I focus on fostering curiosity and a love for learning from the beginning. I can conduct fun interactive activities that focus on preparing children for the educational future. Some ways I can help your child reach their development milestones is doing some fine/gross motor activities, create meals together (help chop fruit, open snack packages, make choices, etc.) so they can have a sense of independence, build their curiosity by going on nature walks and taking them to adventures at the park, find their personality through art, music, or role-playing games, create games to spark up their cognitive learning, and constantly socialize to improve social-emotional learning and enriching the language. I believe children are the future to our generation and should grow with a strong foundation supporting them. I find optimism in everything so even if kids make “oopsies”, I try to understand in every angle so children will always feel comforted and supported. I practice daily positive affirmations with children so they can carry confidence and bravery in everything they do! I am based in Oakland, California and can commute up to 15 miles.
