Hi! My name is Maya and I'm a current UCSF pediatric master's of nursing student & UC Riverside Alumni. I've worked with children all of my life & have always loved to do so. Growing up I attended catholic schools and graduated from Bishop O’Dowd Catholic HS. I’ve worked with children ranging from infants & toddlers to young children through middle school aged. I was a Caregiving Assistant at Redwood Heights Daycare for 6 summers & during school vacations. I also assisted with the after school program for elementary school students. I tutored at the Boys&Girls club & worked as a Behavioral Therapist for children with autism for 2 years. I studied abroad in San Jose, Costa Rica, volunteering in the infant department of the downtown Children’s hospital. I have 10 years of experience babysitting/ nannying for family & friends & have been working with families on care for 5 Read more years. My last position was a full time nanny share to two toddlers. In my nursing clinicals, my last rotation was at UCSF Labor & delivery unit, where I cared for days old infants and their families.
