My name is Krystal and I recently graduated with my Masters degree in Education and have obtained a Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Human Development. In addition, I have obtained my Multiple Subject teaching credential in hopes of becoming an elementary school teacher. Currently I am working on receiving a Reading Certification. For the past year I have been working as a substitute teacher in grades K-6th. And before this, I worked as an Instructional Assistant in Special Education for three years. I have worked with students who have had mild to severe disabilities from the ages of 3-9. I have also been working as a tutor for students in grades K-8 for the past six years. I love and adore these boys and we spend every minute doing something fun. Some of the activities that we have done include, bike rides, picnics, library visits, movies, Irvine Regional Park, Zoo, Discovery Science Center, swimming, playing board games, reading, baking Tuesdays, arts and crafts, and everything and anything outside :) Over the past ten years, I have been working as a babysitter. I have worked with babies as young as 4 months old and up to age 12. I have babysat one child at a time all the way up to 10 . Through all of my jobs I have learned the importance and responsibility of taking care of children. I truly love working with kids and learning along side of them. I am able to get to know and manage a class of twenty-five as well as get on the floor and crawl and play one to one. I am kind, patient, creative and passionate about working with kids. I am also CPR and First Aide certified. I drive a Volkswagen Passat, with dual side airbags and great safety ratings. I have a clean driving record as well as great auto insurance. We have used Krystal on occasions and she's always been professional and a warm, engaging sitter. She's been able to put my younger one to bed which is a feat in itself! Wish we could use her more but the hours never worked out. She's a great resource for any family in need of childcare!
