I have worked in an office environment for most of my life until I had carpal tunnel surgery and just couldn’t get back into that type of environment again. I was very stressed and a friend recommended me to a daycare where I worked for 3 years as a teacher assistant caring for 12-14 children. When my hours were cut I had to look for a better hours. I started caring for an 85 year old couple. Being a caregiver changed my life, it was so rewarding caring for the children & my little couple. I became patient, loving, giving & just a better person.
