As a nanny, I had a diverse set of responsibilities looking after 3 and 8 year old boys. In addition to preparing meals and putting the children to bed, the most important responsibility was ensuring their safety. I helped with homework and provided transportation to and from school or extracurricular activities. It was important for me as their caregiver to be patient, attentive, and able to communicate effectively with both the children and their parents. Additionally, it was my task to create a safe and nurturing environment for the children and handle any emergencies that may arise. Finally, I made it a point to always maintaine a positive and professional attitude at all times and worked with the parents to ensure that the children’s needs were being met.
